8liens sweeps the NFT market with a 253% increase, but what about CryptoPunks and BAYC?

Despite the altcoin reaching $2,000, the wider Ethereum [ETH] NFT market has not seen any spine-tingling milestones recently. According to CryptoSlam, sales volumes across ETH NFTs fell by 3.38% in the last 24 hours.

There was, however, some noteworthy activity in the same ETH NFT market. It has nothing to do with Crypto Punks or the Yuga Labs-backed Bored Ape Yacht Club [BAYC].

Aliens versus apes?

The “genderless” NFT collection 8liens was the best-performing NFT in the last 24 hours, according to CryptoSlam data. During the specified time period, the NFT collection generated more than $3 million in sales volume. There were 1,672 buyers among the 3,374 deals.

The values indicated above were significantly greater than the activity recorded in the BAYC and CryptoPunks environments. Although they both registered an increase, it was less than the one recorded by 8liens. In reality, CryptoPunks’ 24-hour sales volume increased by 79.62% to $2.83 million, whereas BAYC increased by only 4.58% to $1.38 million.

At the time of publication, the average profit for 8liens traders was 32.90%, with active wallets increasing by 122.70% to 2,886.

Despite the rise, 8liens was still down from its floor price of 0.62 ETH on August 11th. The lowest-priced 8liens asset was worth 0.298 ETH at the time of writing. It is worth noting, however, that its position has improved since the market was last examined.
